Let’s Inculcate Our Youth A Genuine American Pride

August 2019 almost ends, but we’re still getting news about young white supremacists arrested in at least three different cities in Florida, Ohio, and Connecticut on plans to commit massive shootings.

One of these guys is an unemployed man who openly said he wanted to die and “have fun doing it”… Indeed, a mentally ill idea coming from the mind of someone unable to think smart at facing adversity.

It seems we’re failing on our white youngsters’ education, specifically those who grew up in the safety net of rural or small towns, that are dealing — in fact like everybody — with the unavoidable Globalization challenge at home, but they are not becoming as competitive as other ethnic groups, whose members are resilient and proactive due to their ancestors traditional withstanding.

Some white youngsters in our country are experiencing a dangerous self-pride, derived from social frustration, and the racist speech spread by conservative media. Resentful youth feel others are stealing their American Dream, but they are not able to understand that America is a proud nation with unlimited opportunities for any men and women working hard and smart to improve our society and our planet.

It’s URGENT to change those dangerous egos threatening the safety of our families into a true American Pride.

We must inculcate our youth that the genuine American Pride is to show the world we can be a UNITED, peaceful, democratic nation worthy of being respected, as well as admired.

IF YOU AGREE THAT IT’S TIME TO IMPROVE THE LIFE OF OUR AMERICAN YOUNGSTERS, OUT OF HATE AND RACISM, JOIN WINGS OF LOVE, INC.

Please, Don’t Show Kids How to Beat Others

don't show kids how to beat othersLast July 2019, the Michigan Youth Appreciation Foundation celebrated its 37th annual Metro Detroit Youth Day, under the “Inspiring youth to do the most good!” motto.

Nearly 39,000 kids aged 8 to 15 attended the event focused to promote goodwill and harmony, according to media reports. However, the participation of the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) made more than one’s eyebrow raise. It was because The CBP officials allowed children to use the battering rams.

Although the federal agency officials explained it was only “community interaction” to let the public know they care about people they serve, some social activists, throughout the country, felt uncomfortable with the kids’ experience, since one of the event’s goals is to advance on anti-bullying awareness.

Designated federal entities have the Constitutional right and duty to protect American people with weapons, but we should keep children and teenagers away from specific, live violent techniques, to avoid increasing bullying at schools, mobbing at workplaces, and brutality in the streets.

20 Years Helping to Help

In 2016 Wings of Love, Inc. will turn 20 years of helping to help. It’s not been easy to accomplish our goals, but we have a bunch of great nonprofit activities which have brought amazing opportunities and happiness to the beneficiaries.

Along the years, our nonprofit activities have emphasized the importance of supporting and empowering kids, because they always motivate and involve their families to create stronger communities and a wealthier future.

For two decades we’ve invested in new generations to plant the seed of a community leadership with social responsibility and love for our natural environment.

Wings of Love, Inc. has helped dozens of persons to build a new way of life for themselves and for their families by giving them the best tool to positively change the world: Education for social success.

Our organization crowdfunded scholarships for children or to train young workers in the use of computers, internet and Information Technologies (IT), when it was not an online cool trend, and we moved volunteers to promote in the streets, healthy habits to prevent the flu.

Wings of Love, Inc. is still a tiny nonprofit effort compared to what we aspire to do for the people and for our planet: Help us to help!
